"Today we had one of our plumbing trucks stolen while our plumber was on the job site working. He came out of the building to retrieve a tool from the truck when he discovered the truck was gone. He called our office right away to inform us of what had happened and we proceeded to call the police department. Because we installed GPS from Vehiclepath in all our work vehicles we were able to track the crook down and within 40 minutes, the police had him pulled over. We were able to get our work truck back in a timely manner with everything in tact. Not only are we able to keep up with our employees and know where they are at all times, we have also been spared the expense of possibly having to buy a new work vehicle (along with all the tools and equipment that were inside of it). Thank you Vehiclepath for allowing me to save money and stop the crooks in their path."

We had some guys working 3 hours out of town at a plant for us. The plant called late in the day and asked where our men were. I called the supervisor and asked where they were and he said they were out back loading up to head home. I told him the plant had called asking about some weekend work and for him to go back in to see what it was – he said no problem. In the meantime, I went to look up one of our other trucks to see how close to home they were but accidently clicked on the other guys truck. Come to find out that when I called him they were 2 hours from the plant they had been working at and had to turn around to drive all the way back in order to talk to the plant manager. As I dug a little deeper, I found not only did he lie about where he was, but they had also taken the job clock with them and had continued to drive on the clock instead of clocking out first then driving home, because they get paid driving time but not while they are on the clock. When I confronted him about why he didn’t just say he was halfway home the supervisor said "I forgot." We saved enough money that day to pay for all 4 of our GPS systems for the year. And this is only one of the stories I will share. There are a couple more workers that told on other employees that paid for next years service too!

My Vehicle Path GPS system paid for itself in the 1st month, My employees were not keeping accurate timecards, I do not know if it was intentional or if they were filling out their timecards by memory several days after. Anyway, they over reported their hours enough that when you took the foreman’s GPS times and multiplied it by the number of crew members he had with him, it saved me hundreds of dollars the 1st month.

Thanks to Vehicle path, they now keep an accurate timecard, I also can see how many wasted trips to suppliers, if they made it to a service call that was scheduled, and if they are doing any side jobs.

Thank you Vehicle Path

"I purchased and installed my unit about 9 months ago. I did not tell any of the employee's that the unit was installed. It has proven to be one of the best pieces of equipment since I installed my first computer 25 years ago.

My truck driver was taking a long time to make deliveries and we had a high fuel comsumption. I couldn't put my finger on what he was doing.

Within the first few days of installing Vehiclepath, I got the answer. The driver was stopping at his house. He would make his last stop and drive 40,50, 60 miles out of his way to go home. He was speeding (speed alert) and getting the deliveries made as fast as he could. This way he could get 1-2 hours doing whatever he did at home.

By using the geofence I would set the alert to go off when he was within 200 feet of his house. We have customers in the area and if I would almost catch him in a lie he would just say he forgot to drop a product at the local customer near his house. Now I could see the truck in his driveway. When the alert went off I would call him and tell him that I know one of his neighbors and they had called me. Believe it or not, it took him three times to figure out I could see him somehow.

He no longer is with me, but I sure did save a lot of Fuel and Payroll with Vehiclepath."

"Vehicle Path has been one my best tools for productivity that we have ever purchased. We started out with 6 units and found that they where so good at keeping track of our vehicles that we have just purchased 92 more. These units' help in so many ways here are just a few of them.

  1. Dispatching, I can look on the map and see where the crews are and send them to the complaint.
  2. Productivity, the employees are taking a more direct rout to the job site and saving on drive time.
  3. Complaints When we get a complaint about one of our crews and the complainant does not get the Vehicle number we can immediately look on the map and see who was there.
  4. Emergencies When I get a call that some one is hurt and are panicking I can immediately call 911 and give them the exact location of the vehicle
In short Vehicle Path saves you money, piece of mind knowing that your employees are doing the right thing at the right time. It protects the employees when someone calls in and gives false information about the speed they were going and can save lives. I feel that these units are great for anyone, from the small shop to the biggest fleet."

"We use this unit to track a mobile ATM van that is used for special events (county fairs etc.) this unit is wonderful it was easy to install, and the ability to see how fast the van is going and were it is at all time is perfect. We really like the Geofence settings and the new web site. Thanks for a product that really works as good, if not better than described."

"I love the tracker. It has already allowed me to address a couple of speeding issues with my teen daughter, and I have no doubt that it has prevented at least one potentially serious accident during the 2 1/2 months it has been on the new car. It has also helped get her out of a situation in which she found herself completely lost in an unfamiliar area; she was able to call home so I could look up her location and talk her to a road she was familiar with. I just referred someone else to you. He wants to get a tracker for his daughter, too. So he will probably be calling you today or tomorrow. Since he's in Alaska I recommended the same Vehiclepath unit that has been working so well for us."

"We ordered GPS Fleet Trackers for our company Vehicle in the beginning of this year. The GPS has saved our company a large amount of money on payroll, Gas, etc. We use the gps time to confirm the field time that is turned in from our employees and how long is actually spent at the jobsites. We have also found that a company vehicle was being used for non-work purposes. In fact it was being used to work for a competitor in the industry. Since we have purchased the GPS Fleet Trackers we have made several changes in our company on how things were being done and ran. Without the GPS Fleet Trackers we would not have the honest employees that we have today,"

"Man working for me was doing 6 pools on the side. One he was doing for over two years. After I dismissed him he admitted this to one of my employees. This saving more than pays for you services plus I have peace of mind."

"Right when we first started using Vehiclepath, I logged in and saw a driver that was way out of her way. I was able to see this error and call her. She was quite surprised when I was able to tell her where she was and help guide her to her destination. Without the help of Vehiclepath, this process would have been much more difficult and we most likely would have spent much more time trying to get the truck headed in the right direction."
