Vehiclepath Announces AT282-LP GPS Asset Tracking Device
GPS tracking unit enables companies to ensure their construction equipment can be recovered if moved or stolen
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Vehiclepath, a San Diego-based leader in Mobile Resource Management (MRM) announces the launch of the AT282-LP GPS asset tracking device. The AT282-LP GPS asset tracking device is designed for mobile assets, like construction equipment, that may be relocated, stolen or lost. The AT282-LP gives customers the ability to know the location of their asset and be alerted if it moves unexpectedly.
"The launch of the AT282-LP asset tracking device gives Vehiclepath customers a state of the art asset tracking device that is water proof, can be installed externally and provide the peace of mind in knowing their assets can be recovered," said Mark Wells, President of Vehiclepath. "The AT282-LP provides all the features our asset tracking customers have been asking for."
The AT282-LP is a low power device designed to greatly reduce the draw on an assets' power system. It includes a backup battery and alerts the customer if it becomes disconnected or during power up. It replaces the previously launched AT262 and AT272-LP.
