Vehiclepath

I want to start off by thanking the staff at MTV. Personally it was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I will never forget it. I have never been involved in a live television event and didn’t really know what to expect.

We installed GPS tracking units on limos that escorted celebrities Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers, Slipknot, Ashley Tisdale, Panic at the Disco and many others. They also put the celebrities logo on the hood or roof of the car. Here is a screenshot of the mapping page we used along with the vehicles.

We did 2 rehearsals on Saturday and another one on Sunday using Production Assistant vehicles. That was the easy part. And then came live TV. Where anything can and usually will happen.

We were mentioned a couple of times and they did show our mapping once. I was hoping we could have been showed more, but some segments were running long and cuts had to be made. In the end it was a great experience and we were able to show off our technology to one of the finest companies around.

I thought the awards show was great and I congratulate MTV on all their hard work. I have never met so many great people and was truly honored to be a part of it.
